- Complete baked goods must be brought to the fair. After judging, a portion will be reserved for display. Exhibitors may pick up remaining portion between 3 pm and 6 pm on Tuesday.

- No entries will be accepted which need refrigeration.

Sec 2 – Canned or Dried Products
Superintendent: Lynn Tooey
- Canned foods will be judged on general appearance (wholesomeness and quality of food, uniformity of food sizes and color, jar fills, food arrangement, and clearness of liquid) and jars (uniform, clean, clear glass sealed with a two piece lid.) No jars will be opened for judging.
- Use standard, mason, clear, quart/pint glass jars for preserving and exhibiting fruits, vegetables and meats.
- Only products canned after the previous fair will be considered.
- Use two-piece self-sealing lids for sealing all jars of food. Jars must have a vacuum and will be exhibited and judged without screwbands.
- All food not in standard jars or not sealed with self-sealing lids will be disqualified by the judge.
- Label contents of each jar in display classes.
- Jars must display correct headspace.
- All jars in a multiple display must be the same size and placed on a tray or in a basket.
- Dried fruits and vegetables to be displayed in clear jars with lids. Does not have to be sealed.
- Best of Show ribbons to be awarded at the discretion of the judge.
